Lonnie Mitchell
Owner/Technician
Raised in the Great Pacific Northwest, I started working in bowling centers at the age of 13 in 1969 in Portland, Oregon on Brunswick pinsetters. Within a year later, we moved to Gresham, Oregon where I learned the AMF 8230/5850 model. I fell in love with working in bowling centers and even more, on the pinsetting/pinspotting equipment. Over the years, I have worked for both Brunswick and AMF as well as several independent centers. It was later when one of the managers I worked for, suggested I become a "Rent-a-Mechanic". I liked the sound of that and sought out ways to improve my knowledge and skill. Becoming a troubleshooter and traveling to different centers, solving their equipment malfunctions, just made me love it that much more. The bigger the problem, the better I like it.
